Luego de la cordial despedida en la catedral de Brownsville Texas, la mañana del jueves, la Carrera Antorcha Guadalupana Mexico-New York dejó la ciudad fronteriza para internarse en territorio tejano rumbo a la ciudad de Raymondville.

The Cathedral of Brownsville, TX gave a Welcome to "Carrera Antorcha Guadalupana Mexico-New York, yesterday, and runners went to Raymondville.

Después de un trayecto de casi 50 millas, la Antorcha Guadalupana llevada por un contingente de jóvenes universitarios de Brownsville, llegó por la tarde a las oficinas del ayuntamiento de Raymondville donde su alcalde, Joe Alexandre les esperaba. En acto seguido, el contingente encabezado por el alcalde, caminó hasta la parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe donde el párroco Gregory M Speck les dio la bienvenida junto con miembros de la comunidad interesados en participar en esta peregrinación que hoy llega a su 27 día de trayecto y que culminará este 12 de diciembre en Nueva York.

After a passage of almost 50 miles, Antorcha Guadalupana taken by a contingent of university young people of Brownsville, arrived in the evening at the offices of the city council of Raymondville where his mayor, Joe Alexandre hoped to them. La ciudad de Raymondville es una ciudad pequeña con poca actividad industrial y su comunidad es mayormente constituida por méxico-americanos establecidos en el territorio después de ya varias generaciones. Sin embargo, fue posible constatar cómo la fe en "la Guadalupana" sigue siendo un distintivo profundo en esta comunidad que se ha sentido conectada con sus raíces tras el paso de la peregrinación.

The city of Raymondville is a small city with little industrial activity and its community mainly is constituted by Mexico-Americans established in the territory after already several generations. Nevertheless, it was possible to state how the faith in "the Guadalupana" continues being a deep symbol in this community that has felt connected with its roots after the passage of the peregrination.

Esta mañana de viernes, tras celebrarse una misa de despedida, junto con la bendición del párroco Speck y de la comunidad, la Antorcha Guadalupana tomó camino rumbo a Kingsville para seguir conectando comunidades en su plegaria por una pronta legalización de los inmigrantes indocumentados en Estados Unidos, por medio de la iniciativa de ley HR2899 Friday Morning, after being celebrated a goodbye mass, along with the blessing from Speck, parish Pastor, Antorcha Guadalupana Run is going to Kingsville to continue connecting communities in its plegaria by a quick legalization for undocumented immigrants in the United States, through the bill HR2899.
