IV Mexican Artistic Expresion Festival

The Tepeyac Association and the Guadalupano Committees of New York City presented the fourth edition of the Mexican Artistic Expression Festival, last may 20th and 21st.

This Festival worked as an open artistic expression forum to the community and to the City of New York, where mexican people competed with their folcklorik ballets, traditional music, theater and painting.

In both days of the presentations we managed to summon approximately 2000 people, we counted with more than 225 participants, received the support of 10 sponsors and 16 Judges who have believed in us and have supported us unconditionally. The promotion and the transmission of our identity and culture to the new
generations of Mexican, was fulfilled and went beyond the awaited.

Like in the last years, the purpose of the Festival was to promote and to share our culture and traditions with the city of New York as a form of incorporation to the life and culture of this place.

The contesters of the Festival are people who practice for their participation throughout the whole year, turning out the festival in one of the Mexican cultural events of better quality into this city. In all the editions of the Festival of the Expression we have counted with the invaluable support of excellent people in the life and culture of the city. Thanks to them and the effort of all those that participated in the Festival, this fourth edition was released with greater expectations and quality that the previous ones.

We are proud of count with the presence and support of all the contesters, judges, sponsors and the audience that went to this festival. All af them are contributors and supporters of the Mexican Culture and the everyone's integration for a better New York City for all Mexicans.
