English as a Second Language Program
The Asociación Tepeyac provides English classes at all levels to both its members and people from the community. The English Program is currently creating a curriculum that in addition to grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, strives to address situations and topics relevant to the immigrant community served by Asociación Tepeyac. The mission of the English Program, by equipping immigrants with the English skills they need to navigate in New York, mirrors the mission of Asociación Tepeyac that is to empower immigrants by educating and informing them of their rights and resources.
Currently, the English Program is seeking Volunteer English Teachers to teach 3-4 hours a week.
