Antorcha Guadalupana is operated and provided by Asociacion Tepeyac de New York, and the privacy policies applicable to its use is governed by this private policy. This is a new privacy policy effective as of the date set forth above. Even if you read and approved a prior policy, you need to review this new version as it has been updated and revised. Information CollectionRegistration and Programs EnrollmentIn order to complete to enroll as a user of our programs, a user must first complete a registration form. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact the user about services and programs on our site for which they have expressed interest, to inform users about services and programs we offer to. By providing this information to us, or by submitting a registration request, you expressly consent to being contacted by us and by our programs' staff via phone, fax, email, mail or other reasonable means, at any of your contact numbers or addresses, in order that we may provide the services set forth on our Web site, or for other reasonable purposes related to our programs and services. As the users can use this form to request any of our services (immigration, labor, educational and legal consulation), they do not have to provide detailed information about the service requested. No financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date) is collected from the consumer. This information is used to match users with appropriate service/program professionals. The information may also be used to contact the consumer to verify or clarify their service request or to customize the consumer's Web site experience or future Tepeyac communication.Information UseRegistration InformationWe store information that we collect through the Web site experience and activities, cookies, log files, to create a record of our programs and volunteer users. Collected information is recorded in out contact and volunteer databases. This record is used to register the users to our programs and volunteer projects and to communicate to them.CookiesA cookie is a piece of data tied to information about the user and stored on the user's computer. We use both session cookies, which terminate when a user closes his browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on the user's computer until manually deleted. By setting a persistent cookie, we enable our users to skip our introduction page, thereby saving time while to access our Web site. If users reject these cookies, they may still use our Web site.Log FilesLike most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes technical information to analyze trends, and administer the Web site.Communications from TepeyacService AnnouncementsOn rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly services, programs and volunteer related announcement. For instance, if our services, programs are temporarily suspended or canceled we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can email to [email protected] to stop receiving this announcements. However, these communications are not promotional and not commercial in nature.We DO NOT communicate with users to provide services or information in regards to information not related to our programs, services and volunteer or information not in accordance with the user's wishes. Sharing InformationWhen you submit information to Tepeyac.org, you authorize us to share this information with our network of services and programs in order to try to provide the services you request. For example, when a user request a consulting service of our association Our service/programs professionals can contact the user, such as telephone numbers, physical addresses and email addresses, that information is shared with our service/programs professionals who have accepted a service request lead. In addition, we have other approved contractual partners that fulfill services requests, or that utilize their own service professionals to supplement our network, and we share your information with them, subject to contractual confidentiality restrictions, in order to attempt to provide the services requested.Though we strive to preserve user privacy, due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will always remain confidential.
